Lovely very clean, well thought through cottage. You can find everything you need in the cottage. Even new toothbrush and toothpaste if forgotten! Very impressed by the level of detail. Beautiful always sunny kitchen and garden. The cottage is in a quiet street but very close to center of village and 15 mins to picturesque views of sea.

Really lovely stay. Much bigger than the name “cosy cottage” would suggest with generous living room including wood burner, conservatory kitchen and sweet secluded garden. Nice quiet location and great value. Would definitely be happy to stay again.

Linda was a great host! Very responsive, attentive and the cottage is located in walking distance to beautiful Lizard Village. It has a log burner which was used plenty and looked so cosy, outside garden which we enjoyed as well and a lovely place to stay!

Our first time to the Lizard and Stoneturner's Cottage was perfect for us to explore the area. Lots of good walks on the doorstep.

What a little gem! Perfect location, very quiet and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Daisy and Jack loved the bunk beds and the woodburner was very cosy. For a cold February, the cottage was so warm and tucked away. All the local things to see were right on the doorstep. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A lovely holiday at Stoneturner's. We were very comfortable and found everything we could possibly want. We had cream teas, Cornish pasties and fresh caught fish. The holiday passed all too quickly.

Lorna and Kenneth, Hampshire.
First visit to the Lizard - we loved being able to walk to so many beautiful bays. Cottage was well equipped and very comfortable - a great base for exploring SW Cornwall. Weather was excellent - warm and sunny apart from a wet Wednesday but we still managed a walk near Land's End. Would recommend Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens near Penzance. Loved our week here - we'll be back.

Rose, Andy and Leon, Worthing, West Sussex.
Lovely cottage - it had everything we could possibly need. The weather on the whole has been bad but that hasn't stopped good walks and good days out. We'll definitely be back again once Leon is a little older.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage. We have had a wonderful time bodyboarding at Poldhu Cove, eating pasties from Ann's shop, visiting the Cornwall museum in Truro, a boat trip in Falmouth, a tour of the Lizard lighthouse, a coastal walk to Kynance Cove and going to Mousehole and Marazion. We have undertaken extensive research and decided that Treleaven's ice-cream is the best! (Tip - rhubarb crumble flavour!)

Our third visit to Stoneturner’s Cottage and another wonderful fortnight on the Lizard. Recommend getting the bus to Poldhu or Mullion Coves and then walking back to The Lizard. Fantastic views and not too hard a walk. Also walking to Cadgwith via coastal path and coming back via St Ruan’s well and Grade Church.
Hope to come back next year!

We have had such a wonderful week and the weather has been great. Stoneturner’s has provided a lovely cosy base from which we’ve enjoyed coastal walks and trips to Poldhu and Kennack sands. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely little cottage.

Leanne and Simon, Somerset.
Lovely cottage which is ideally located for walking and for peace and quiet! Lizard Point is well worth seeing if you are bird watchers like us as choughs are nesting here in good numbers! Kynance Cove is also worth visiting (you can do a circular walk from the cottage) but go at low tide so you can explore the caves, but the scenery is fantastic plus there is lots of good wildlife to see! For food the Coast Bistro is lovely and both The Witch Ball and Top House are very good and reasonably priced.

Our second visit to Stoneturner’s Cottage and yet another holiday on the Lizard Peninsular. One of our favourite places and a comfortable, cosy cottage with everything we need. We hope to come back next year and our thanks to Linda.

Visited Cornwall and the Lizard peninsula many times before but our first visit to Stoneturner's Cottage. A surprisingly spacious and comfortable cottage and a perfect position for walking on the coastal footpath, fishing etc. Lots of great places to visit nearby. Blessed with mainly good weather and the wonderful views make the Lizard one of our favourite holiday destinations. Hope to come back.

Lovely snug cottage in a great location. I enjoyed a fantastic week here during the Easter holidays with my two children. The location was ideal - quiet but within walking distance of shops, pubs and a cracking fish and chip shop. Beautiful coastal walks within reach, dramatic landscapes, sandy beaches and lots of things to do within easy driving distance.
The cottage itself makes very good use of space and has been recently refurbished with lots of thought and good taste. It is very well equipped and comfortable, with every home comfort you could need. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
